Our experience shows us that sales training and sales excellence is not achieved in a class room or online, watching a video.
Sales is a contact sport -- training needs to be in real time and one on one.
There was a time when a sales agent would cut out the latest story from a news paper and mail it – with a stamped envelope – along with a note to a client. It was normal to send “Greeting cards” and happy holiday cards to our best customers.
In addition while attending trade shows we would walk over to their booths and speak with them – introducing other contacts to them along the way.
These are still important elements in many sales processes...but not all.
Today, most traditional sales and marketing tasks are outdated and simply don't work as they used to.
Outbound cold calls are getting less and less effective.
