Our team has gone from the days of mail drops and fax machines through the days of emails and pay-per-click to today…the digital world. 
The digital world is now interconnected across so many channels that it’s hard to know where your organization should start!
We realized very early on that no one solution fits all companies or all industries.

The basic principle that we were founded on has never changed.
Our experience shows us that sales training and sales excellence is not achieved in a class room or online, watching a video.
Sales is a contact sport -- training needs to be in real time and one on one. 


There was a time when a sales agent would cut out the latest story from a news paper and mail it – with a stamped envelope – along with a note to a client. It was normal to send “Greeting cards” and happy holiday cards to our best customers.
In addition while attending trade shows we would walk over to their booths and speak with them – introducing other contacts to them along the way.
These are still important elements in many sales processes...but not all.

My father purchased SLP (Silver Lake Press) in March of 1973, and I remember helping him in the print shop as a kid, back when we had to handset the type and used a Linotype. I loved learning about the presses and spending time with my dad doing it.

Times have changed a lot since then, and SLP is now a cross media business solution company. I still enjoy putting together top notch print media for businesses; office supplies, large format, marketing materials, magazines, books, etc. I like getting to know a business to start with ideas through conception, and ultimately to a finished product or plan. Incorporating online media with online marketing and social media is exciting and rewarding.

​The world is so big now! It's fun to market across all platforms, and I like putting it all together for the success of your business.

I grew up with a love of animals. I started riding horses when I was 7, fell in love with Friesians when I saw one in my teens, and was very lucky to get my first one when I was 16. My father fell in love too, and has always said “There are horses, and there are Friesians.” I have a passion for these elegant powerful black horses and compete, import, and breed them to this day. I met my husband through these horses. Living on a farm is a lifestyle I love. Since they can’t live in the house, I also show, breed & pamper Labrador Retrievers, my couch dogs. I started taking photos of all these wonderful animals when I was young, and there is nothing quite like capturing the beauty and personality of animals.

I started designing websites for my husband’s print company, Silver Lake Press. He grew up in the company with his father providing all print media. I was able to expand the company into the online world with web design, SEO, and online marketing. It is very rewarding to learn about a company, build a website that works, and watch the company grow. With SEO, social media, and strategic marketing I can make a real impact for a business

Mark is a former Sergeant in the United States Air Force and an Afghanistan War Veteran who currently lives in Fargo, North Dakota.
